Dach is an acronym of 􏰁dry aggregates carbonaceous heater􏰂; they heat any quantity of carbonic mixture employed in the production of electrodes or electronic paste at a temperature of 250 oC or more for a maximum of 10 minutes, for EAF furnaces or SAF reduction furnaces, depending on the furnace size. Together with DIFHEMIs for heating the binder or pitch, they do not require special mixers heated by thermal oil, steam or even electrical resistances.
